Queenstown News > NZSKI increase 2010 season passes

Yesterday NZSki, which runs the Remarkables and Coronet Peak skifields, announced early bird season pass prices would rise by up to $100.

A pass for the Remarkables and Coronet Peak will cost $799, with a pass to just the Remarkables priced at $449 and the price of a daylift ticket to increase by $2.

Cardrona confirmed its season pass would jump $20 to $560.

NZSki chief executive James Coddington said the company had thought long and hard about raising the prices but increases to ACC levies and the minimum wage, coupled with infrastructure investment, had left them with little choice.
