A short 35 minute scenic drive from the beautiful lakeside town of Lake Wanaka. At the South Island’s largest ski area, you’ll enjoy plenty of terrain. With the longest vertical rise in the Southern Lakes the runs are exhilarating whilst the views across Lakes and Mountains outstanding.
Treble Cone comprises two basins differentiated by aspect and formation. Stacked on top of each other the mountain offers dedicated slopes for beginners, long & wide intermediate groomed trails, plus thrilling runs to challenge even the most accomplished skiers & riders. Offpiste skiing & free-riding is legendary with chutes, bowls, gullies, natural half-pipes & Terrain features.
Renowned for deep Nor’West powder days, Treble Cone’s proximity to New Zealand’s Southern Alps and high altitude means reliable natural snow conditions all season. One day is not enough to fully enjoy this popular mountain.
Full base lodge facilities include café and bar, childcare, rental centre, accessory shop, ski and snowboard school and medical centre. A shuttle service operates from Queenstown and Wanaka daily.
